New waterless trap offers seamless installation

Small-HepvO Sink Installation-2

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new version of our popular HepVO waterless trap, which aims to make installation as straightforward as possible. With an updated design, that still features the industry-leading, high-performance sanitary seal, the latest HepVO trap is easier and simpler to install.

The new design offers a sleeker look and the addition of directional flow arrows helps the plumbers to achieve the correct orientation and alignment.

The original and world’s first waterless trap - HepVO was a practical and hygienic solution to traditional traps, which can sometimes lose their water seal due to evaporation, siphonage, leaking or movement. The HepVO waterless trap solves this problem with a self-sealing, elastomeric membrane which performs the same function as a water-filled trap, but without the potential drawbacks. This innovative membrane has proved very popular with installers and has not been altered in the latest version of the product.

Now with a 15-year guarantee, our new HepVO is a highly durable and reliable solution. We have also made the conscious decision to move away from single use plastic packaging to a more sustainable cardboard solution, part of a company-wide effort to minimise its impact on the environment.

Steve Skeldon, Product Manager, Above Ground at Wavin, said: “We’re always looking at how we can improve our offering for customers. The original HepVO has been used extensively by the plumbing industry, and by redesigning the product we now have a more modern-looking waterless trap, with a fantastic 15-year guarantee. Installers get can get the job done quickly and easily, providing end-users with a system that won’t let them down."

Our original HepvO was as a first for the plumbing and drainage industry, and with more than 30 years of experience, we’re proud to be continually improving our offering for customers with world-leading products.
