Hep2O is our market-leading push-fit pipe system! You may well already know that Hep2O is a plastic pipe system and so does not get a scale build, reducing the risk of burst pipes through corrosion.

In fact, we are so confident in our innovative solution that we provide a 50-year guarantee.  But did you also know that Hep2O has some pretty staggering credentials when it comes to heat resistance, strength and flexibility? In our Hepsperiments videos, we share some of these surprising facts about Hep2O.

Piling on the pressure

For our 1st episode of Hepsperiments, we pile on the pressure. Wavin Hep2O performs exceptionally well under pressure. That’s great news and the secure fittings mean that it doesn’t come apart at the seams unless you have a HepKey.

Turning up the heat

In episode 2 of our Hepsperiments series, we turn up the heat on Hep2O and look at its highs and lows when it comes to temperature. Did you know that Hep2O keeps its flexibility in temperatures as low as minus 15 degrees Celsius? Thankfully that is much colder than most winters we get in the UK. In theory, it can hold its own in some parts of Antarctica, it should always be insulated though!

Episode 3 of Hepsperiments looks at how strong our Hep2O pipes are. We wouldn’t recommend actually doing it but Wavin Hep2O is strong enough to pick up heavy items like bricks or even to tow a car. Not a common occurrence but If a panda happens to stand on it, no problem, it wouldn’t crush under the weight!
