Orbia’s Building and Infrastructure Business Wavin is proud to announce it has been awarded with a silver medal from Ecovadis in 2022. This recognition ranks the company in the top 25% of best scoring companies in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility worldwide.

Ecovadis (since 2007) has been evaluating sustainability performance of companies in 4 categories (Environment, Labor & Human rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement). By assessing 21 sustainability criteria, the sustainable practices of companies with international supply chains can be measured and compared, resulting in trust and transparency.

The Silver Medal not only recognizes the sustainability management of Wavin so far, it also provides insight in the areas that can be developed further. Jan van Rompay, Global Sustainability Director:  “This Ecovadis assessment confirms that we are on the right track with our sustainability journey. It is an ambitious journey, and the insights from the external evaluation help us to continuously improve on our mission of building healthy and sustainable environments”.
