Ofrece compatibilidad en todos los diámetros comunes de tuberías, creando redes uniformes que satisfacen con facilidad cualquier demanda del mercado.   Esta especificación detallada describe las tuberías y accesorios de PVC rígido adecuados para drenaje sanitario, sistemas de residuos, ventilación, desagüe y gestión de aguas pluviales. Este sistema puede utilizarse en diversos entornos no presurizados con una temperatura de funcionamiento que no supere los 60 °C (140 °F).   El PVC (cloruro de polivinilo) rígido y virgen será el material clave utilizado en la producción de esta tubería, con Celda de materia prima 12454, tal como especifica la norma ASTM D 1784. El producto final debe cumplir las normas de tamaño IPS establecidas por ASTM D1784 para obtener la máxima eficacia.   Tuberías y conexiones de PVC fabricadas de acuerdo a los estándares ASTM D2241 para tuberías.
