*Research  based on 127 responses from UK pre-qualified as being prepared to consider buying a home (house or apartment) within a new development and with an annual income over £35,000

Previous research by Wavin UK has also indicated that most potential homeowners are concerned about climate change and sustainability as well as a range of other issues impacted by indoor climate solutions including damp prevention, comfort, allergy prevention, pollution, draft prevention, safety and security and room layout.

Martyn Neil, Wavin UK Commercial Director of Indoor Climate Solutions commented
“Specifying low energy housing, that is beyond the minimum regulatory requirements, is a real opportunity for developers to set themselves apart from the competition. Talking buyers through how their new home has been designed and constructed using the latest energy saving heating and ventilation technology could a key factor in deciding from which housebuilder to buy from.”

Wavin integrated indoor climate solutions can help to optimise energy efficiency of a new home by integrating underfloor heating, MVHR and zone control. Systems can be tailored to meet all of the latest building standards for energy efficiency, indoor air quality and ease of use in residential new builds. Overall the combination of energy efficiency, lower carbon emissions, low maintenance, easy installation combined with the delivery of more comfortable, healthier living environments makes it an attractive option for both developers and home owners.
