The new Unilever Head Office in Indonesia is a building representing the future and the culture of sustainability. It uses water systems by Wavin.

What happens when one of the world’s foremost food and beverage companies teams up with a highly respected architectural design firm and a leading international contractor? Easy: when these powerful international innovators need a powerful partner, they call on Wavin for the latest in water management technology. The result is an intrepid modern building that represents the future and the culture of sustainability.
Welcome to Unilever’s new headquarters for Indonesia, currently under construction in BSD City, Tangerang, Banten, south of Jakarta. Wavin is taking a big part, so let’s look at the team: Unilever has more than 400 brands focused on health and wellbeing and is a world’s leader in sustainability commitment. The global architecture firm, Aedas, features some of the world’s most talented designers. And the primary contractor, BAM International, is experienced in the day to day work, including mechanical, electrical and plumbing works.

With all this international clout and expertise, it’s no wonder that this building project turned to Wavin, including the Wavin Tigris Green and our SiTech piping methods. The SiTech is a mineral reinforced polypropylene soil and waste system; it offers increased robustness and low-noise properties as well as ease of installation. Because SiTech pipes are particularly sensitive to noise, they are an ideal solution for office complexes like this, as well as hotels, hospitals, elderly homes and libraries. You can check the projects sections on the Wavin website of your local operating company to see more examples. Wavin SiTech reduces noise levels more effectively than standard waste water discharge systems, and Its flexible connectivity and push-fit system makes it a complete plug and play solution!

However, Unilever’s new office project expects more than efficiency and durability from Wavin, because we are more than a manufacturer. Architects, contractors and all of our clients partner with Wavin to help solve complex challenges with world class innovation. Results are delivered with a deep understanding of the communities and the associations they are working with - that’s how Wavin connects to better technologies, partnerships and solutions.
