Recently on 09 June 2023, in the vibrant city of Hanoi, Wavin organized a highly successful seminar that drew over 100 participants from various sectors within the building and construction industries including architects, contractors and consultants. The event served as an ideal platform for Wavin to showcase its cutting-edge, above and below-ground water solutions. Throughout the seminar, attendees engaged in a series of in-depth discussions centred around Wavin's ground-breaking solutions to water supply, low-noise drainage solutions, rainwater, and stormwater management, as well as BIM Revit solutions aimed at optimizing building performance.

Developing countries are struggling with this problem and by commemorating World Toilet Day on November 19th, we are casting a bright spotlight on an issue that affects the health of millions of disenfranchised families. What many of us take for granted, others consider a luxury: a functioning toilet.
Something as simple as a functioning toilet can save lives
It’s not a glamorous subject. But it can be a deadly one. An estimated 2.6 billion people live without adequate sanitation and hygiene, which means they lack protection against preventable diseases that claim the lives of thousands daily, many of them – children. Wavin knows firsthand that in order to safeguard both human health and the environment, reliable and durable systems are needed for transporting waste water from domestic, commercial and industrial buildings to treatment plants.
Loss of productivity due to illnesses caused by lack of sanitation and poor hygiene practices is estimated to cost many countries up to 5% of GDP.Guy Hutton, PhD , World Health Organization

Wavin has opened the Wavin Academy in Adana, Turkey. The Academy is a combination of a physical training and meeting center and a dedicated website.
The Wavin Academy building contains meeting facilities and a fully equipped training room where visitors can work with the various Wavin systems. Wavin Turkey expects to welcome over 10,000 partners such as plumbers, contractors and engineers each year.
We are extremely proud of this Academy. Turkey is an important market for us, and by creating this center and on-line environment, our customers can receive training and a variety of information and new skills.Andrés Capdepón , Wavin CFO and Regional Managing Director
The Wavin Academy in Adana is the second of its kind to open this year. In March, Wavin Italy officially opened a state-of-the art Solutions Center next to the factory in Santa Maria Maddalena, near Bologna. The center has a strong focus on Wavin’s innovations, with a meeting room designed to conduct training courses and an extensive showroom where practical skills can be trained.
The combination of a physical center supported by a dedicated website will enable a lot of people to reach us. We need more skilled personnel in this market, and this will help achieve that aim.Orhun Çapanoğlu , Managing Director Wavin Turkey
