## **Descripción técnica:**

Las geomallas de Amanco Wavin se fabrican con un tipo de material que se ha utilizado durante muchos años para hacer barreras de separación en las carreteras. 

Están hechas de polipropileno, estructuras bidimensionales y son químicamente inertes, uniformes y homogéneas lo que hace que sea fácil trabajar con ellas desde el punto de vista medioambiental. 

Además, la elaboración de las geomallas se realiza a través de un proceso de extrusión y luego estiradas de forma longitudinal y transversal.

## **Usos:**

- Estabilizar los suelos blandos.
- El refuerzo de materiales granulares en carreteras y terraplenes no sólo ayuda a evitar un mayor deterioro, sino que también reduce los índices de accidentes debido a los efectos de derrame.
- El refuerzo secundario en los muros de contención se utiliza para ayudar a aumentar su resistencia.
- El refuerzo de los terraplenes en las autopistas y las pistas aéreas ayudará a evitar una mayor erosión.
